Terms of Use — Notice
Last updated: 8 October 2026
By using Notice you agree to these terms.
What Notice is
Notice is a companion that listens and talks with you, running an open language model on your phone. It is made by Johann Flores (dgtol) and offered free of charge.
What Notice is not
Notice is not a therapist, a doctor, a crisis service, or a substitute for any of them. It cannot call for help. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services or, in the United States, call or text 988. Notice may say it is worried and point you there, but it cannot do more.
The model can be wrong
Replies come from a language model and can be inaccurate, inappropriate, or made up. Treat what Notice says as the words of a well-meaning friend who knows nothing for certain, not as fact or advice. You are responsible for what you do with it.
Open models and their licenses
The models you download are made by third parties (for example Alibaba, Meta, Google) and come with their own licenses, which apply to you when you download and use them. Notice does not change those licenses or grant you any rights under them.
Your data
Everything stays on your device, as the privacy policy describes. You are responsible for the security of your device and for anyone you let use it.
No warranty
Notice is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, its maker is not liable for any loss or harm arising from its use or from anything it says.
Changes
These terms may change with an app update; continuing to use Notice means you accept the new version.
